For my server & the kitchen

I have Alpha Gal Syndrome

It's an allergy to mammal meat and mammal-derived ingredients — usually triggered by a tick bite. Even small amounts can make me sick, so I appreciate your help keeping my plate safe. Thank you!

Please avoid in my food

  • Beef, pork, lamb, goat, venison — all mammal meat
  • Bacon, sausage, hot dogs, ham, and deli meats
  • Meat-based broth, stock, bouillon, or gravy
  • Lard, tallow, and animal shortening
  • Gelatin (marshmallows, Jell-O, gummies, some yogurts)

Usually safe for me

  • Chicken, turkey, duck, and other bird meats
  • Fish and shellfish
  • Eggs, fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, and nuts

Prep & cross contamination

Please cook my meal in a clean pan with fresh oil, using fresh utensils and a clean grill surface — cross contamination from shared grills, broilers, or fryer oil can cause a reaction. Thank you so much — it means a lot.
